Well its not been the best lead up to Christmas this year and i'm sad that my hamster bean has passed away this morning.
Me , one of my cats and bean have not been well the last few days. I was throwing up and the cat was throwing up both had fevers. My Mum had to look after the cat staying up with him because i could do it when i was throwing up like a fountain. Then the last 3 days iv noticed the hamster has not been eating or at least not much. he was fine a few days before when i cleaned his cage he was running round and rolling in his sand bath.
Yesterday he eat nothing and i tried to give him some apple later on but he just wanted to sleep which isnt too unusual since he always sleeping a lot the time. but this morning i woke up early and i decided to cheek on him and he must have just passed away. his body was still warm but he has definitely gone.
So it came as a surprise but not really which sounds weird but i knew he was old. I rehomed his of someone who i knew who was having a hard time ( i cnat go in to details on it) but she was having to rehome her pets. her other pets were 3 young rats she had who got rehomed with the breeder she bought them off. then i took bean becuase i knew he was old i knew he be hard to rehome. He was already over 4 years old when i got him which is already good for a hamster. 
One point in the year he got so sick and i though he was not going to make it but he did he was a little trooper. 
he was so friendly and loving and just so funny. We are going to miss him but he will be at rest now along with my other pets and family members that have passed away im sure there all up there hanging out in heaven.
